about
Dominic J Marshall is a producer from Salisbury, Wiltshire. He learned piano from his Dad from the age of 4 and started composing in childhood. Aged 18 he left Salisbury to study jazz at conservatoire, teaching himself electronic music and singing en route. He was selected by Jamie Cullum and Gilles Peterson to perform at BBC Introduces and now tours regularly with Cinematic Orchestra.
Howufeel was born on the MPC 2000XL, a favourite instrument of Dominic's for composing melodies, but the perplexing emotional ups and downs of single life in the 2020s shaped it over time into a full-on pianistic journey. It’s a song inspired by equally confusing and exciting nights spent confronting the mysteries of feminine intuition. It’s his first release since Nomad’s Land in 2020.
